I had a pleasant stay at Amoun Hotel in Alexandria. The location was ideal, close to downtown and the market area. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out easy. The room, while not huge, was spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is located in the middle to the Mansiah Area, in the center of the local market. Right below the hotel, is the vegetable and food market and a walking distance is the Garments and cloths market. The Beach is about 10 mins walk from the hotel.
The price paid for the Hotel was not worth the service received. The Breakfast was pathetic, The Mattress was hard as a rock and definitely did not have a good sleep. The Windows were too transparent, curtains were cheap and did not stop the Sun light from entering the room. I will give this Hotel a 2 Star Rating... Pictures on the site is deceptive.

This hotel is not a 3 star hotel. It is one or at best 2 star hotel. It is located in a crowded neighbourhood. Insulation is extremely poor and you hear the street noise all night. The aircondition units function poorly.

The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The hotel is conveniently located right beside a local market, giving guests a true taste of Egyptian life. The staff were friendly and the basic amenities provided were sufficient. I also appreciated having rooms on the lower floors as it made accessing them easier. Plus, the breakfast served was delicious.
No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

The hotel is well below 3 stars and accumulated dust can be seen clearly and even worse under the beds. The rooms are very small for double acupations.

The room was very clean and had new furniture. The staff was very friendly.
You could hear a lot of noise from the street. The manager said that there will be more isolating windows soon.

I had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! the room was clean and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Plus, the location was perfect - there were plenty of shops and markets nearby. I also enjoyed the delicious meals offered at the hotel restaurant.
There were a few things that could have been better. the WiFi was quite weak and I had trouble connecting.

It is very close to Alex port. But not recommended.
Hotel is located at right in front of busy round-about near the busy market. This is why car horns continued all night long. This is unbelievably too noisy. You cannot imagine how awful. It costs usd 80.00 per night including breakfast. Room looks good on the website but actually not clean at all. I requested slippers but not available. I cannot walk from bathroom to bed without something. Room window is unbelievably thin and cannot shut down the sounds coming from outside. You feel like sleeping outside just on the road. That is why although I booked 2nd night I didn't stay but stay other place. Unless otherwise hotel is renovated, this hotel is not recommended.

This hotel is a great choice for travelers who want to be in a central location. It's near all of the city's attractions and everything is easily accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathroom facilities are great. The breakfast is great and the view from the terrace is amazing. You can enjoy sitting in the sitting area near the washroom and have a beautiful view. There are many facilities available to provide you comfort.
The hotel's busy location can be noisy at times.

The staff, location and room quality were fine for the price.
The damned windows need sound-proofing. I asked for a quiet room (seeing upon arrival the hotel was on the round-about of 2 main roads) and was given one that faced directly onto the round-about! All the rooms face the street and I assume they all have the same poor sound-proofing so every other guest was subjected to the same car, dog, people, etc noises at all hours as I was, and so would have slept as little as I could. That was the only drawback of the place.
